This hands-on training program prepares students to develop the skills necessary to become a Casino Table Games or Poker Dealer. Table Games and Poker Dealers can earn $55,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually. MSJC small class size allows for personal instruction which better prepares you to be professional; with the customer service skills that casinos are looking for, and for the job audition. Emphasis will be placed on game knowledge, chip value, and recognition, along with card handling. Special attention is given to game security, accounting and pit procedures, as well as the chain of command. Our instructors are experienced in all gaming areas. They are committed to sharing their knowledge and expertise to develop effective and proficient Table Games Dealers. MSJC Completion Certificates will be awarded upon successful completion of each 104-hour program.

What you learn is based on the primary skills employers want to see in the dealers they hire AND what players like to see in the dealers they interact with and tip on the casino floor.

With our “hands on” teaching methods, Crescent School graduates learn a complete understanding of the gaming business. In addition, they will be thoroughly conversant with the rules, techniques, systems, procedures, equipment, and theory in their choice of one (or all) of the following casino games: Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Mini-Baccarat/Carnival Games, and Craps. The student’s skills and abilities will be developed to a point that qualifies them for employment, at an entry level position (or higher) in the exciting casino industry.
